Overgheset uyt den Latijnsche by Gerardum Gallinacum, in sijn leven dienaer des woordts Gods.. Hier by zijn ghevoeght d'uytlegginghen op den Euangelist Iohannes. Item noch op de handlinghen der Apostelen (...). Dordrecht, Peeter Verhaghen, 1625, groot 8vo., later full leather binding with ribbed spine and leather titleplate with gold lettering [12]+426+[2]+224+[1] pp. + 157 ff. The "vvtlegginghe Iohan. Calvini (...)" has a separate titlepage. The bookblock is solid and the connection to the later binding is solid. The titlepage has some stains, there are some waterstains at the bottom of the first few pages, the rest of the book block has mostly clean pages, though there are some notes in modern ink in the margin of f. 33, on page 368 an old paper repair is visible (along the edges of the page), a peacock feather is kept between pages 84-85. There are some lovely woodcut decorations: vignet on the titlepages, initials and endpieces.
