In many cases, even reaching the target would require all the skill and cunning the crew could muster as there was just enough fuel to do so and perform the weapon delivery. In other instances; there was adequate fuel to fly an escape maneuver away from the blast from your own weapon, leaving the crew to ponder just what the hell they might do with the very few minutes of powered flight they had left.'
