The Address from Harvey Cushing in print at the Opening of the Allen Memorial Building of the Cleveland Medical Library Association. Harvey Cushing (Cleveland (Ohio), 869, April 8, New Haven (Connecticut),1936, October 7, was Professor of Surgery in the Harvard Medical School, as a Neurosurgeon. He described an illness, now known as the Morbus Cushing. He introduced the blood pressure monitoring in Northern America by the Riva/Rocci method. He contributed to several areas in Medicine, was a writer and collected antiquarian books.
