'History has always survived under the mighty hand of the victors. Unfortunately for us, that leaves us with a panegyric rather than an objectiv view. It is historically and biblicallly clear, however, that the Christian church spring forth from an Upper Room on Mount Zion as an entirely Jewish enterprise and brought with it much of the rich understandings and traditions of the original twelve apostles and their inner circle of 120 who first embraced Christ whom they called by his Hebrew name, Yeshua. At the martyrdom of Stephen in A.D.35, the gospel went out, being spread equally among the Gentiles and the Jews, often creating a denomination of racial background. Cities where the gospel became prominent divided into churches and synagogues for Christ.
