The English and Japanese are written with a spread out, so it's very easy to read. The reason I reduced the number of stars by 1 is that the meaning of the sentences is not completely contrasted. There are minor changes and omissions. I think this point is difficult in the case of a book like this if the author is not familiar with the two languages. The author of this book is a historian, not a linguist.
But it's fine because they're generally right. It's the perfect book for people with a good sense of style who want to study English and Japanese history all at once.
