8vo (20x14 cm); Frontispiece, [xv], 316p. Illustrated with folding green tinted map, 16 monochrome plates and vignette. Bound in the original publishers red cloth binding with gilt stamp to the front board and titles to the spine.
Condition good: Extremities sligthly rubbed, gilt still bright to the front board, binding firm, embossed stamp to the ffep, endpapers lightly browned, Fore-edge foxed which occasionally creeps onto the page margins. Tissue guard to the frontispiece foxed, bleeding onto the title page. Contents compete with all pages and plates present.
