The Commissions of the International Astronomical Union cover the whole field of astronomy, from Ephemerides, Celestial Mechanics, Positional Astronomy, Instruments and Techniques, to topics like High Energy Astrophysics, Astronomical Observations from Outside the Terrestrial Atmosphere, Cosmology Other Commissions deal with the Planetary System like the Commissions for Solar Activity and Solar Radiation, Comets, Planets and Satellites, The Moon, etcetera. Others with Stars and the Galactic System.
For the first time the Reports on Astronomy have been arranged into three volumes of moderate size and as much as possible homogeneous contents. This system will allow a wider circulation of the separate volumes to members of the IAU and other scientists interested in particular topics of astronomical research.

- LET OP: Verzending vindt plaats op eigen risico. Wanneer u van mij een verzendbewijs heeft ontvangen (track & trace code/verzendlabel) geldt dat als de overdracht naar de pakketdienst. Helaas kan ik u bij onregelmatigheden in het transport niet van dienst zijn.
- Een boek kan OPENGEKLAPT worden verstuurd om verzenkosten te besparen: bij een pakket bedragen de verzendkosten met PostNL € 7.70, bij een brievenbuspakje is dat € 3.95. In een enkel geval kan dit schade aan de rug van uw boek opleveren. Hierover kan niet gereclameerd worden. In de bevestiging van uw bestelling wordt deze optie aangeboden en krijgt u twee betaalverzoeken met de van toepassing zijnde verzendkosten.
