The Sammlung architektonischer Entwürfe contains works that partly have been completed and partly objects that were intended to be completed. It is a printed graphic drawing work by Karl Friedrich Schinkel. With it, Prussia's most important building official was able to communicate his architectural intentions to a wide audience and thereby indirectly influence the development of architecture at the time. In the high quality of the sheet design, image design and textual description, the "Collection of Architectural Designs" set standards and shaped the representation of architecture in the 19th century. It also established a publishing tradition that continues to this day in architectural circles. The plates foxed and sometimes frayed along blank margins. Wrappers torn along spine (on fold).
