Frontispiece (plate), ills. of plants on two other plates, 13 mainly fold. maps and profiles, drawn by author, notes to publications cited, a general glossary, lists of plant-names in various local dialects, extensive bibliography, extensive comparative list of minahasan plantnames with synonyms used in javanese language, extensive indexes of latin-plantnames and families, errata & supplementary notes. A massive record of the botany of the Minahasa, incl. North East Celebes, incl. timber-species. Executed by command of the dutch colonial administration of Indonesia, preceded by a concise account of author's sea- land voyage from Java to the Minahasa. Although on title-page is stated that the work contains 10 maps, actually 13 maps, all drawn by author are present. Still of great scientific value. Rare.
