Ralph Wardlaw Thompson was an English member of the London Missionary Society, who became their foreign secretary, visiting missions across the world particularly in South America and the Pacific (i.a. Tahiti, New Guinea, Cook Islands, Fiji, Niue, Vatorata and Samoa).
