Bibliografie, index. Noot LT: deze uitgave bundelt een schat aan gegevens over de kolonie Belgisch-Congo; INFORCONGO stond in 1958 aan de top van zijn kunnen, mede omdat de informatie moest dienen voor EXPO 58; alle uitklapbare kaarten en stadsplannen zijn intact. De stadsplannen laten toe de wijken voor blanken en die voor zwarten duidelijk te onderscheiden. De gids bevat ook alle belangrijke adressen. Vele foto's van maskers met origine. Vermelding van alle hotels. Afstanden. Het werk heeft zowel documentaire als historische (propaganda-) waarde. Tekst in het Nederlands. ZELDZAAM.
Moeller de Laddersous (1889-1971) was een zwaargewicht: hij bekleedde talloze mandaten in overheidsdienst en daarna in koloniale vennootschappen en had een zeer efficiënt netwerk uitgebouwd. Alleen al door de tantièmes die hij ontving was hij gefortuneerd.
