Uit het Engels vertaald door Tuuk Buijtenhuijs. Zwarte Beertjes 876. Pocket, 191 pp. Non-fiction; reportagewerk van Ian Fleming (1908-1964) over de International Diamond Security Organisation (IDSO). Verscheen oorspronkelijk in afleveringen in The Sunday Times en was gebaseerd op Fleming's interviews met John Collard van IDSO, daarvoor lid van MI5. Overigens blijft de diamantwereld een constante in de verhalen van Fleming (1908–1964). Het kaartje op de cover is niet lukraak gekozen maar bevat veel informatie. Het toont dat Antwerpen een echte draaischijf is voor de diamanthandel en dat van hieruit de USA wordt bevoorraad. Andere belangrijke kruispunten (zogenaamde 'smuggling junctions') zijn London, Parijs, Berlin, Zürich, Monrovia, Dakar, Capetown, Bombay, Tel Aviv, Beirut, Moskou (bevoorraad over twee assen: Antwerpen-Berlijn en Antwerpen-Zürich), Lusaka.
