Manuel de Falla's House and Museum has essays by Manuel Orozco and Enrique Franco with an introduction by Isabel de Falla and translation by D. L. Kelham, and was published by Centro Cultural Manuel de Falla, Public Foundation of Granada City Council, Department of Archives, Libraries and Museums in 1988. This Book is a Softcover measuring 7.875" x 6.875" with 85 pages. This museum shows the mementos and personal items of Manuel de Falla, the most distinguished Spanish composer of the early 20th century. From 1921 to 1939, the musician Manuel de Falla lived in the city of Granada, in a simple carmen, a typical Granada house with a vegetable or floral garden. The house where he lived has now become a museum, which recreates the atmosphere that surrounded this musician from Cadiz, conserving his furniture, mementos and personal objects. It was flooded with personal items, many of them have never left the house, probably because the composer was planning to return soon. His piano, his desk, bed and other items were left in the house. Manuel de Falla left Spain fearing that he could be murdered as was his friend Federico García Lorca.
