Review:
This is the quintiessential ,most thorough, book on the subject of the interaction between Dutch & Flemish artists & Venetian/ artists & their mutual influences on each other in the 15th/16th centuries . Although it is 15 yrs old, to my knowledge, there has not been a been a better book on this subject done since. Each entry is comprehensive & written for the scholar as well as the dilettante. The illustrations are excellent & in color & related works are shown for each entry.
