About Codex C.Y. (or Cambridge Codex T.-S.10.K.22.) containing among other texts the epic poem Duke (Ducus) Horant. Entire manuscript reproduced in photographic facsimile, with transcriptions. The oldest known works in the Ashkenazi Jewish vernacular which later developed into Yiddish. Old Yiddish, a variant of Middle High German, written in Hebrew characters (Judeo-German, Proto-Yiddish). With German translation and an introduction in English.
