- The first Dutch edition was published in 1828. Following the massacre of the crews of British ships, sent out from Melville Island and Raffles Bay to trade with the Arru Islands, the Dutch government decided to investigate the Moluccas and Java Seas to Timor and New Guinea. Recased with original endpapers preserved. Lacking both maps.
