8vo (24,5x17 cm), 596 pp. With colored frontispiece, 181 figures by Karl Girardet, Lebreton, etc. and 20 maps and plates, some in color. Bound in quarter leather with gilt tooled spine and lettering, and percaline boards. Front board with gilt tooled ‘Lycee de Toulon’.
Condition: Good-, rubbed binding and worn corners. I think the boards have been colored at a later time. Interior good with some with minor foxing. Prize inscription on verso of front free end paper from Lycee de Toulon. Complete with all figures and maps.
