Some small closed tears to cloth along sides of spine. Pages in very good, clean condition, only a very occasional sot of foxing. Presentation inscription on ffep, dated 1853.
Includes description of the Lady Hobart lost “on an Island of Ice”; the "Cabalva" wrecked upon the Cargados Garrados Reef, in the Indian Ocean; Loss of the Centaur, wrecked returning from the West Indies; and the loss of the Litchfield on the Coast of Africa.
