The British Museum Metropolitan and the Museum of Art hosted the Cartier 1900-1939 exhibition to celebrate the 150th anniversary of the Maison. The exhibition told the story of Cartier design from the early days of the Modern Style to the eve of the Second World War. The exhibition catalog was the result of detailed research by Judy Rudoe, distinguished curator at the British Museum, and Stewart Johnson, of the Met’s Department of Design.
