The Division of Archaeological Survey and Excavations became the most active of the Department of Antiquities' Divisions. All in all some 320 large-scale operations and small soundings were carried out by the Department in the course of the last decade (1948-1958). These may be divided into five main groups: (a) the clearing of individual graves and cementries; (b) the beginnings of human life in this country: the Early and Middle Stone Ages; the start of civilization in the Late Stone Age, and the transition to the use of metals of the Chalcolithic cultures: the EC period of the Early Bronze cultures; (c) the Canaanite Period; (d) the Israelite Period; (e) the late periodes especially of Roman and Byzantine domination which preceded the Arab conquest.

De verzendkosten naar België bedragen € 7,00 thuisbezorgd.
Verzendkosten naar andere landen zijn op aanvraag.
Retourneren is mogelijk binnen 14 dagen. Retourkosten zijn voor eigen rekening.
