Extract-besluit strekkende tot akte van aanstelling, 13 October 1892, No. 14. Official document promoting sergeant "G.M.M. Aritz van het Regiment Grenadiers en Jagers" to lieutenant ("Tweede-Luitenant-Kwartiermeester"), as nominated by the minister of war. The document (41x32 cm) is dated to "Arolsen, 13 October 1892" and is signed by the minister of war (Seyffardt, in ink), Queen Emma (in print) and the "Secretaris-Generaal van het Departement van Oorlog" (Kramer, in ink). On the back of the document is stated that the promotion comes with a yearly payment ("traktement") of f 1000. This statement is also signed by Kramer. In the bottom corner the costs are listed for this document ("zegelrecht, registratierecht, leges") , in total f 25.75. The document has a clear watermark reading: "Departement van Oorlog" (department of war), a stamp ("Zuid-Holland, 50 c.") and an embossed emblem reading again: Departement van Oorlog" (department of war). The document has been repaired with restoration tape on the backside along the fold lines and there are some dark stains.
