Dit is een novellenbundel met zeven novellen, waaronder twee van Mark Twain: Een merkwaardig voorval ; Geïnterviewd. Heel bijzonder en heel schaars.
Het is een mooi linnen boekje met een prachtige cover illustratie: een elegante lezende vrouw in een trein, met ook het landschap dat het uitzicht vormt vanuit het raam van de coupé heel mooi en in detail getekend. Iets scheef gelezen, papier verkleurd, voorste schutblad mist een klein stukje, maar verder in een goede gelezen staat. Een mooi boek in heel goede staat.

This book is a collection of seven novellas / short stories, among them two by Mark Twain: Een merkwaardig voorval ; Geïnterviewd. (Literal translation of these titles would be: A curious incident ; Interviewed.) Very rare and special.
This is a pretty linen hardback with beautiful cover art: an elegant woman reading on a train, with the landscape that forms the view from the window rendered in exquisite detail. The spine is slightly slanted from reading, the pages are browned, the front endpaper lacks a tiny piece in the corner below, but overall it is in a very good well-read condition. A beautiful, vintage Dutch Mark Twain publication and a very special find.
