The bindings have some scratches and worn corners but otherwise are in good condition. The bookblocks overall are solid with some stains. From "De Christelijke menschenvriend" a page seems to have been torn out between pages 16 and 17, but the page numbers and the text continue without break. In "Huislijk leven" and "Hendrik Stillings Kindsheid (...)" one signature is slightly loosened.l Johann Heinrich Jung was better known as Heinrich Stilling (1740-1817). He was a German author who wrote several novels and an autobiography. He was also active as a physician, oculist and lecturer.
