Jacobus Hendrik Laurentius Van der Schaaff, author and historian, apparently used the dary for his vacation in 1892 only. He reports his daily travels, his talks with friends and family and trips in the region of Haarlem, amonst others visits to graveyards to see the tombs of men and women he was interested in. Includes a letter written to Joseph Gerard van der Schaaff by his son.
