Apart from foxing on first and last (blank) leaves the interior is mostly clean.
Harry Johnston was in 1884 appointed as leader of the scientific expedition to Mount Kilimanjaro. On this expedition he concluded treaties with local chiefs, which were then transferred to the British East Africa Company.
