Peter Barenboim is the author of the books “3000 Years of the Doctrine of the Separation of Powers. Court of Suter ”(1996, 2003),“ First Constitution of the World. The Biblical Roots of Court Independence ”(1997) and“ Biblical Roots of Separation of Powers ”(2005). The history of the exodus of Egyptian slaves to freedom, described in the Bible, marked the beginning of the philosophy of law as a science of rejection of slavery, which has become an extreme degree of human unfreedom. This approach was unknown to the ancient Greek philosophers-slaveholders. The above biblical events provide abundant intellectual material for the modern philosophy of law, which studies the sources of constitutionalism, separation of powers, the rule of law and the primacy of the highest values of law before the interests of the state.
