This magazine was not the official Provo magazine, but an alternative publication from more or less the same group. The Dutch Provo movement emerged from happenings held around 1965 at a statue in the centre of Amsterdam. Eventually Provo got elected in the Amsterdam city council. Provo were the predecessors of Yippies and Provo organizations in e.g. New York and Los Angeles. Open letter to President Tito of Yugoslavia; Letter from Peter Bronkhorst to the courts complaining about his arrest at a recent happening where he was dragged by his hair for about 30 meters by the police (with two picture sin this issue); Letter from R. Stol, P. Bronkhorst, H. Tuynman and L. v. Nimwegen to Her Cover by Ubbo Voute. Majesty the Queen to give the empty Amsterdam palace to the youth of Amsterdam; Poem by Hans Tuynman; The Chinese nuclear bomb; A rational analysis of objections against Provo. Condition: Worn as expected. Browning. Last page may be missing - Not clear if this page with a form to complain about an arrest by the police was present in all issues.
