The success of this book is due, in large part, to its dialectical character, Tessitore tell us in his introduction that the book is animated by two related themes: that there has been a renaissance in modern Aristotelian scholarship, and that modern political discours is the product of perennial questions and dilemmas to which Aristotle may possess some insight.
