Here are presented not only the difficulties of coming out, but also the diverse nature of gay relationships, the impact of HIV and AIDS and the political climate which even on the brink of the twenty-first century, still seeks to legislate against and inhibit in homosexuals freedoms taken for granted in the heterosexual world.
